Another interesting find about human evolution

Just recently Newsweek had an article about how lice helped us understand human evolution better. It wasn't quite as new a concept as Newsweek made it appear - Sciencenews wrote about the subject in 2003 in an article called The Naked Truth? Lice hint at a recent origin of clothing, and the original 2003 study can be found here (use the links in the right-hand side). Still, it is and interesting article, and worth reading, even if the idea isn't as revolutionary as Newsweek wants to make you believe.

Now I see that Science Daily has an article about how tooth decay helps us understand it better as well.

A New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) research team has found the first oral bacterial evidence supporting the dispersal of modern Homo sapiens out of Africa to Asia.
