Ann Coulter just continues

If anyone thought that Ann Coulter would have any shame, I think we can put it to rest. The title of her next book has been released:

If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans

And it seems that her publisher has no problems with publishing her.

Ann Coulter may be dealing with newspapers upset over her use of an anti-gay slur to describe former North Carolina senator John Edwards, but she is having no problems with her latest book, If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans, which is set to be published in October by Crown Publishing Group.

"We have a book with her on our fall list and have no plans on altering our current publication plans," said Steve Ross, Crown publisher and senior vice president, according to the Associated Press. "Every book we have published with Ann has been a major bestseller and we expect the same with the upcoming title."


Given the fact that Coulter's books are bestsellers because they are bought in bulk, I'd say that I can't quite understand the reasoning here. If Coulter is really a Persona non Grata among the Conservatives, then the bulk buying won't happen this time - of course, some of us have our doubts about the "Persona non Grata" part.

    If Republicans had any brains, they wouldn't buy Coulter's book.
